Any other site — you decide
VidDub does not start itself anywhere else. Click its toolbar icon on a page you want dubbed and it runs there for that visit; if it worked, the side panel offers to keep it on for that one site. Turn a site back off, or allow every site at once, from the same panel. That is how people dub course platforms, news sites and the video pages they already use, without granting access to their whole browser up front.
Your own videos
Attach an .srt, .vtt or .ass file if you have one; if you do not, VidDub can generate the subtitles itself. A private video is only ever uploaded after you confirm it.
A video without subtitles still works
When a video has no captions, VidDub transcribes the audio first and dubs from that. You do not have to check whether captions exist — it picks the path on its own.
