Questions before you start?
Does VidDub only work on YouTube?
No. VidDub is built as a multi-platform video dubbing layer. YouTube is the clearest starting point, and supported platforms will continue expanding as the extension matures.
What happens when a video has no subtitles?
VidDub first looks for usable subtitle tracks. If captions are missing or not good enough, it can fall back to speech recognition so the video can still be translated and dubbed.
Will the voice stay synced if I pause or skip?
Yes. VidDub follows the video timeline, including pause, seek, replay, and playback-speed changes.
Can I choose different voices?
Yes. VidDub supports language-specific voice options, and premium audio features can make multi-speaker or background-audio-heavy videos feel more natural.
Can I still see subtitles?
